It seems that as the Olympics are coming closer the more I feel disappointed with our local council.

So the people who live in Weymouth cant really enjoy the Olympics then.

And how, pray, are all these extra visitors going to get in and out of town, and where are they going to park? Don't say park and ride, far too much hassle with small children and all their buggies and beach toys.
What clown thought it was a good idea to make the Esplanade single lane at the Clock? I live at Alexandra Gardens at it took me over half an hour to get along the front and out of town a few weeks ago - and when the Condor comes in, it's even worse! The queue used to clear in less than twenty minutes, now the whole front is blocked for an hour at a time, with all those cars chugging out fumes. I wouldn't be surprised if Condor took their business elsewhere....
It doesn't work trying to go out past Asda, either - removal of the roundabout and all those lights with cars coming from all directions is dangerous. Coming along the Harbour from town, I had to wait for the lights to change FOUR times before I could get out.
Someone is strangling our town. Why?

I don't see why 6+ million tickets could not have been distributed more fairly among the majority of applicants. It's outrageous that someone gets £11k worth of tickets whilst 1million (55%) miss out completely. My sons are gutted we got no tickets from £500 not even basketball, mountain biking or swimming. We live in London and planned no holidays at that time. Have now gone off Olympics completely.
